Dear Highland Equestrian Conservancy,

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MILFORD HIGH SCHOOL EQUESTRIAN TEAM !!!
As I walked across the grassy field, I realized I was in a very special place  ---- and it sure wasn't Troy, Southfield or Livonia.  I was surrounded by powerful, magnificent animals  --- at least twenty horses galloping in the arena as the sun was setting.  A stunning sight.  Sounds of laughter were mixed with the slosh of hooves hitting the mud.  Sure enough, I was at our Huron Valley Equestrian Field watching the kids practice for their next Meet.  Our field, next to Milford High School, is 20 acres with four arenas and a clubhouse, is the only high school equestrian field on school property in the United States. Stop by and watch the workout on Tuesday nights.  For information about the results of the District One Meet on September 6, please see notes from Coach Tesolin at the bottom of the page.  The next Meets are at the Huron Valley Equestrian Field next to Milford High School on Saturday, September 13 and Saturday, September 20.  C'mon over and cheer for our Lakeland and Milford kids!!!  The Regionals Meet will be in Shiawassee on September 27 and 28.  State Championships are scheduled in Midland for October 9-12.  And, thank your lucky stars you are right here in Huron Valley!

ECO TIP:  Want to slow down the ripening process of your fruits and vegetables and keep them crisper longer?  Well, use green bags that reduce the enzyme producing gases known to cause rotting.  Click here http://www.reusablebags.com/store/evertfresh-green-bags-pack-medium-p-27.html  for more information.
